Bangladesh Computer Council works to empower people with disabilities through Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In the past 20 years, the program began with the inclusion of policies regarding the use and application of information and communication technology for the welfare of persons with disabilities in the National Information and Communication Technology Policy. The BCC started providing free ICT training to people with disabilities from the age of 27. From the 27th, the job fair was launched to expand the employment opportunities of trained handicapped siblings. Later, the 'Information Technology' competition was launched to encourage young people with disabilities to use and practice ICT. The BCC is also implementing a "Empowerment of all types of people with disabilities through information technology" NDD to ensure co-participation of people with disabilities in the ongoing digital revolution in Bangladesh.
